iPhone-o-Gram! Home Sweet Home!

I arrived home just a bit ago. Man, that last 130 miles or so was hard!!

It's just a long way from Louisville, Kentucky to Wallburg, North Carolina!

I got really excited when I saw Pilot Mountain out in front of me through a very dirty windshield.

And then the familiar skyline of downtown Winston Salem came into view. I was almost home. About 12 miles yet to go.

I made it and Sadie was so excited to greet me she had to do ALL her tricks!

Now for the hard part. Unloading Shamu.

There are treasures in my car and I can't wait to get them out of there!

Just wait and see!

My parents are close to you! They went to a relative's wedding last night at Childress Vineyards. They are loving your part of the country!

Glad you made it home safely. I use to LOVE to drive. Now... well, I'm dreading the driving part of this week. 7 hours alone. I am going to get a book on CD right now and put in my bag before I forget. Bonnie, with you, there is NO TELLING what is in Shamu . lol But, I would wage $ that it's sewing related. You are something else.

I'm going to go with Sandra's guess... it just have to be sewing related. So glad you go home safe & sound. If you listen closely, I'm sure you can hear the hot tub calling your name.....

You're right about the last part of a journey ... always the toughest. Glad your home safe and while traveling is fun and you have a wonderful time while gone there IS no place like home ... and sleeping in your own bed, with your own pillow and blankie ... ahhhhh ;-)

Glad you're home safe and sound--that was quite a trip! We know ONE of the treasures Shamu holds--your new pink Atlas. And you've teased in THREE posts. This is going to be good....

Yes, it must be sewing as the rest said but the anticipation still grows between us. Youse your treasures like Christmas morning when we all get excited to see what others get. Sleep tight

Glad you are home. You travel so much, it's newsworthy when you are in your own space. Hope you get to enjoy just being there for a while.

Glad your back home without incident. Hot tub sounds like an excellent idea! I don't know how you do all that driving by yourself. You are a very brave woman! Relax now, your home!

My son and I were entranced by the site of Pilot Mountain when we went to J'ville,NC in August. As a natural wonder, it is a work of art!
